The United States needs better health and better and more affordable health care—or as the Department of Health and Human Services frames it, better care, smarter spending and healthier people. Susan Dentzer, Senior Policy Adviser to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, will describe approaches that work to engage people more deeply in their health and
health care; educate them about their choices; activate them to take steps to improve their health and care; and make seemingly abstract concepts “stick.”
